A Seven Man Committee has been set up by the Nigeria Premier League board to conduct the election into the NPL board tenure for 2010 - 2014.

The Committee which is made-up of individuals with experience and integrity   has Alh. Muazu Sulieman as Chairman, former 2nd Vice Chairman of the NFA, Bar. Nwabufor Richard Obienu and renowned sports writer, Mr. Ben Memulatiwon as members.

Other members of the Committee include Chief Julius Government, Alh. Gana Kachala and Bar. Isaac Danladi while veteran sports journalist Mr. Paul Bassey will serve as Secretary.

Members were short listed at the 31st Board sitting of the NPL on 25th November, 2009 and contacted to confirm their acceptance to serve in the Committee. The Committee will be inaugurated on Friday 11th December, 2009 at the NPL Secretariat, 31 Karaye Close, Garki II - Abuja by 11:00am.

The Committee is charged with responsibility of conducting and drawing out guidelines for a free and fair election in line with section 32 of the statutes of the Nigeria Premier League.
