The Nigeria Premier League top contenders, Enyimba FC of Aba will try to consolidate  their position as they face Sunshine Stars FC of Akure at the Aba Township Stadium today.

The two-time CAF Champions League winners would be banking on the fitness of the players and an injury-free squad to overcome Sunshine Stars, who may also try to overcome The People's Elephant and brighten their chance of playing in the continental championship next season.

Warri Wolves who on Wednesday piped Lobi Stars of Makurdi 1-0 to move to 5th place on the table will be at home to 3SC of Ibadan.

Also on duty today is Wikki Tourists of Bauchi now coached by former Dolphins handler, Ifeanyi Onyedika.

Onyedika replaced Ladan Bosso who has been accused by the club of breach of contract.

The Bauchi club side will travel to Enugu to book a date with Flying Antelopes, Rangers FC of Enugu.

Reports from the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium indicate that Rangers International are prepared to beat Wikki and grab the three maximum points at stake.
